Rev & dear Sir,

I wrote you in answer to your last letter received here from Cincinnati. But I received your letter as written at [?], instead of [Lamaborrugh], as I afterwards saw the name to be in the [?] Episcopalian. I fear you have not received it. I said there that the Gen. Conv. could not take up your case in any way, that Presentment & Trial is the only way, that the might to be done, that all charges of all cases should be united in one Presentment. I make no concealment of my opinion.

Yours very truly,

Charles P. McIlvaine
