My dear Bishop,
I ought to have told you before that we hope that your “custodians” and our mutual friend Carus will kindly join our parish in Portland place in the [?]. We are sorry that the dinner table will not stretch enough to include them all.
We look to you, if the Lord will, to take the Bible for about half an hour before we part and read and pray with us. It may be a little [?] [?] may be of use to know that my dear little newborn daughter is to be baptized at noon today at All Souls Church and [?] this gathering of friends is in connection with this joyful event.
