Chairman--Miss Flora Farquhar. Vice Chairman--Clay Seiler. Secretary--Pearl Thompson. A petition for the location of a branch at Brandon was read at the meeting. The petition was signed by 25 persons and the branch will probably be located there, although no action was taken at the meeting. Local colored women have also petitioned to form an auxiliary chapter to be known as the Wayman Chapel auxiliary. This petition was granted and the following officers have been elected: Chairman--Mrs. Bessie Newsome. Vice Chairman--Mrs. Viola Booker. Mrs. James K. Lyman, secretary of the executive committee, also announced that a branch is being formed at North Liberty, but the certificate showing its organization has not yet been sent in.
