STATE CONVENTION COLORED WOMEN'S CLUBS OPENS HERE
The convention of the Ohio State Federation of Colored Women's Clubs opened here at the Calvary Baptist church at 10 o'clock Monday morning. The convention will close Wednesday.
During the 10 o'clock session, the Rev. Mr. Woodson, pastor of the Calvary Baptist church, delivered the address of welcome on behalf of the colored people of the city. Rev. Grayson of the A. M. E. church led in prayer.
Mrs. George Keys, a woman active in the colored women's club of Mt. Vernon, delivered the address of welcome on behalf of the Mt. Vernon organization.
Music for the three days during which the convention will be in session will be rendered by Ralls' orchestra.
