Description
Roy Carter, colored of Cleveland, was brought to Mt. Vernon Saturday morning by Chief of Police Parker and placed in the city lock-up to await arraignment on a charge of defrauding an inn-keeper, preferred against him by A. M. Butler of this city, who operates a hotel near the B. & O. station. Carter formerly lived here, but has been working at the Erie Bowling Alley in Cleveland
