Description
These are all items that my daughter, Amelia O’Meara-Hill, and I have made during quarantine. There are teacher appreciation boxes with all handmade items that we were able to create using primarily supplies that already existed in our home, candle making, an outdoor sculpture, some brightly colored curtains, special fans for Mother’s Day, cards to Great Grandmas and a specially decorated birthday cake for my husband/Amelia’s father/Associate Professor of Studio Art, Craig Hill. We have always made things in our home to express ourselves. However, it has become even more important lately. When you have an outlet where everything else can kind of fall way and you can be absorbed in the process of making, we have found that it can do the mind a world of good.
