Hon. Columbus Delano,

Chairman Executive Committee:

The unanimity of my recent election to the presidency of Kenyon College and the cordial assurance of thorough support from the Board of Trustees make my duty to return a favorable answer dear to me, and I hereby present my acceptance of the office. In accordance with the request of the Executive Committee this acceptance will take effect at the close of the Commencement exercise on June 18 next.
