My dear Lord
I return the enclosed, & feel anxious like yourself that the dear good Bishop shd be enabled to raise up a flock to become its Bishop in the Gilead Country. I do not however think that the printing of his pamphlet wd be the best way of assisting him. I carry mine down with me to Wales where I hope to arrive before this Month is ended, taking my venerable friends [houses], Ld [Roth] & Lord [Elden] in my way. We set out tomorrow morng after my Parly. [attendance] [of] [above] 4. [Months]. Your 2 pupils voted on difft. sides on the [Irish] tithe Bill, tho’ we [hoped] from Lord Ripon’s speech he wd have voted with us. Another year I hope we may have the whole man. Our dear Bp Chase can not fail of heavenly support, and so delightful a Missionary Bishop is no where to be found. I trust in God’s mercy the affairs of His Church in England are rather [more] promising in appearance with our Kind [?] to Mrs Ward & your family I am your very faithful Kenyon
