The price of the Chapel is 3000 Guineas €1000 of which will be given towards its endowment. For further particulars (& if by letter postpaid) apply to Mr. G. Stow Nuneaton, Warwickshire, England.
My Lord
An application for my Chapel having been made to me by a person who is styled Bishop West and who represents himself to be an American Bishop - I shall feel exceedingly obliged if your Lordship will [have] the kindness to inform me as soon as possible in the strictest confidence whether the Gentleman in question, is a regularly consecrated Bishop of the American Episcopal Church, and may be regarded and treated with as such?
