Reverend Sir,
I have taken the liberty to send you a Bible of which i hope you will do me to honor to accept and [?] it is [?] better worth offering to you. I also send a much useful book for children of every condition. As I am unable to contribute in money to the great cause you have so zealously undertaken, I have presented the Bible, thinking that should it be too [?] for you to take back, it might be disposed of advantageously, as it having been your possession much enhanced the value.
With unfeigned Prayers that the Almighty may be graciously pleased to [?] you with renewed health, strength, and joyfulness to your family and to [?] you to witness the successful termination of your pious and [?]ous undertaking.
I have the honor to be
Reverend [?]
Your obedient servant,
Elizabeth M. Drought
