Dear Brother
I red. all your letters and feel very grateful to you for so much kind attention to my affairs.
I think I shall venture to pay the taxes on the Mason Co. lands. if I am wrong it will be but the loss of about one or two hundred Dollars and may save thousands to a perishing family.
I send you with this the little book on which I beg your opinion and that of all who love me and wish well to the dear object of my fondest affection Kenyon College.
I am here today & off for Gambier tomorrow. Love to all who love
Your loving Broth
Philander
