My dear Wife
No letters yet!!!
Not a word since Mr. L. Minor came. I preached yesterday and consecrated the Elementary.
A [Feather] [Bed] is preparing to keep me from jolting in the Coach and tomorrow I shall set off & travel 17 miles.
The Rev. Mr. Ethan Allen will overtake me there and I hope Dr. Farnum will come to this town tonight.
I am better every day.
Your faithful & affectionate Husd.
Phir. Chase
