My dear Wife
I am well: but much fatigued. All the appts. Have been fulfilled thus far. Today I confirmed 36 in this place & confed. the church.
I wrote this to keep you from anxiety about me: and to assure you of my prayers for all at Gambier.
I hope the two English men are with you before this. They were sent to thatch the stacks and to see how they wd. like. Coleman I think much of. The other has a farm in Grafton & can not be had. Tomorrow [morning] I go Rome. Yours
