Chase asks his wife to tell Mr. Sparrow and Mr. Wing that Dr. Keith will likely come to Ohio soon to fill the Milnor Professorship. He has greater hopes that his proposal will be accepted by Congress.

My dear Wife –
I was yesterday after writing you a hasty letter sick all day and night with the headache – Am quite better today bless be the Lord. –
Tell Mr Sparrow and Mr Wing that Dr. Keith called again today with Mr Lippet and talked as if would go to Ohio and fill the Milnor Profess’p! The Clergy of the District are to have a great meeting next tuesday when the matter of Dr. Keith’s going to O. is to be decided. My affairs about getting the Townsh. of Land brighten much. I send you a small branch of the Greenleaf tree with a Bulfinch on it.
