Dublin Apl 11 1827

In the year 1826 Jan’y 28, I gave to Mr George Stokes a Certificate as to his moral & religious character & Classical qualifications. Being (as I understand) about to offer his services in the Diocese of Ohio, he has called upon me for a renewal of that Certificate: and I feel it due to Mr Stokes in justice to say, that his conduct since the date thereof fully entitles him to my re-assertion of all that it contained.

Signed to Dublin L.O.S
