Description
Chase informs his wife that he and Dudley will be setting out for Providence the following day. He wants to deliver a letter and other goods to her himself, but must delay.

9. Mar: Dear Wife
I send you [him] [&] [Dawe] letter which I thought to deliver myself, but God’s providence commands me to so another way: I have bot 2 Barrels of Coffee whith [sic] with many of other things will be sent on as soon as the navigation opens. Dudley & I will set off in the S Boat for Providence tomorrow [?] Three Godbless [sic] you!
