Right Rev. Sir
I have the honor to send a box containing a few books for the use of the Theological Seminary in the diocese of Ohio. In doing this I am for the most part the almoner of the bounty of others. One book I have enclosed at the request of my friend W. G. Marriott [sic], the memoir of the life of my Father, and of this I beg your acceptance. That it may please God to prosper the Church in America, [&] bless the endeavors of those who seek his glory and the good of their brother is the prayer of Rt Rev. Sir
Your faithful and obedient
Servant
Rev. Bowdler
