Revd. and Dear Sir,
I have great pleasure in begging your acceptance of Four proofs of the Engraving of your Portrait, and shall be extremely happy to hear that they give equal satisfaction to your friends in America, as they have done to those who had the gratification of knowing you in this country. I shall always myself retain a grateful remembrance of your kindness in sitting to me, and a lively interest in all your proceedings, and in the sincere hope that it will please Heaven [&] prosper all your undertakings, I am, My dear sir
