My very dear Friend
The great Desire which Sir Tho. Acland has to see Bishop Chase makes him desirous of postponing his Journey from Tuesday to Friday that He may meet Him here on Thursday but as it is a Matter of much Moment his putting off his Journey. He would not do it but with a Certainty of meeting Him: therefore if the Bishop puts off coming here to a more distant Day, Acland would wish to known if by a Line directed to Him at Warren’s Hotel as early as you can let him know if tomorrow & I should like to be informed of it also -- Warren’s Hotell [sic] is in Waterloo Place.
