Right Revd & Dear Sir,
We have heard today of my sister George & her family being safe at Sidmouth. I had a note this morning from subdean Fisher, inclosing 3 for the fund for what he justly calls your “great undertaking.” Great & good it is, & I heartily pray that God’s blessing may be with it. An ocean between us will not lessen our interest in you & your cause. Accept again the warmest good wishes of, Dear sir,
Your most cordially,
John Marriott
