My very dear Sir;
After assuring you of the kind reception I met with from Mr. Perry, and all the excellent friends of this place, I beg leave, in a very hasty manner, to apprise you of my intention to be with you by the tomorrow’s (7. O’clock A.M.) coach.
On Saturday, if the Lord will, I must pass on to Leeds and there spend the Sunday.
With expressions of the kindest and most grateful regards to all the friends at York; and with the most fervent [prayers] for God’s blessing on them, I am,
Very Dear Sir
Faithfully Yours
Philander Chase
