William Gray [?] of York to Bishop Chase
Dear and Right [?],
York 2nd March 1824
Though I know not where this may find you, I cannot refrain giving you a line, to [?] my [?] joy at your having got an accommoda [?] with Bishop Holart, you so satisfactory a footing - the father, as the case appeared to me [?] embarrassing, [?] danger was threatened which even way you decided, supposing the Bishop had [?] and for one third of the contribution. Ms. Dallin is equally glad you [?] the few other friends be who hear of your dilemma.
With my hearty good wishes and prayer for the blessing of the Great Head of the Church [?] you and your members; and with [?] Grays [?] sentiments, I am, [?].
