Dear Sir
We duly received your letter of 10th ult and we have by it been enabled to recover from the Dead Letter Office at Washington your letter of 12th June last addressed to Joshua Sands but intended for one Mr. Joseph Sands
We have deposited the amount of the certificate $484.44 in the North River Bank as you requested and enclosed we beg leave to to[sic] [hand] receipt for the same which we trust may reach you safely
