Philander Chase asks the Editor of the Prostestant Churchman if he has received the money for an engraving at Jubilee. He also announces the name of the journal he plans to publish when he buys a printing press.

My dear Sir will you send to the address of Dr. Alfred Castle of Wyoming--Stark Co. Ill The Protestant Churchman and Charge my acc’t?

You said that the cost of the engraving of Jubilee College was $20. I sent you thirty. Did you ever receive it? I confirmed 13 at Chicago on the 23 of Aug’t-- I preached at Lockport 30th
I confirmed 2 & preached at Batavia on 1st of Sept.
My wife and myself are well & now at Wyoming 17 miles from Jubilee-- I shall build a prosperous house & and[sic] a printing house this fall. The types and printing Press are paid for by English bounty. The Title of our monthly paper will be
