My dearest Brother:
God be thanked we are now all once more together in the Robins Nest and in good health and spirits.
Our voyage across the Lakes was boisterous and long; but God preserved dear Laura and my self and all on board in safety, thro’ Jesus Christ and we have much cause for gratitude.
I said we were al together in the Nest. but one bird is wanting-- his is gone to Steubenville Ohio to get himself a Mate: and we are happy to add that we hear by yesterdays mail that he has succeeded. He was married about the 20th of Oct. and will soon be with us-- both himself and his bride.
I have time to say no more now but that I am always your loving brother P. Chase
