To Mr Ingraham
D’r Sir
I propose setting off as soon after [Earth] as possible and proceeding directly to Cairo: but can not fix the precise day in which I shall arrive there.
I hope you’ll make arrangement for divine services and for the Organization of a Parish of our Communion under my inspection: the form of which I have & which always is acceptable.
My wish is to proceed as soon as may be to Vincennes that I may attend to the few Scattered sheep of Christfold in the neighbourhood of Mt Carmel.
Begging your prayers that God may speed me in this my undertaking to see you all at Cairo
I am
D’r Sir
