22 Feb 1838
My Dear Wife
I forgot to tell you that I wish Mr Radley to read the sermon from the volume of Hamelton, Sermons entitled “The blessing of Hungering and thirsting of the Righteousness”--
Pray read him the Volume the evening beforehand that he may read it over and become acquainted with the manner & stile.
I found Mr [Sanburn] well & his family. He had rec’d neither of my letters
