The Bishop of Illinois in the far west of the United States of N. America is in want of faithful clergymen who are able to perform the duties of mission and service in his new diocese and willing to engage in it for the term of three years.
To such as will bring t him the recommendation of Josiah Pratt of London, and Peter Roe of Kilkenney, he Bishop will engage to pay each annually the sum of five hundred dollars.
Their duties will be to preach the gospel in his new settlements and to gather together compensations and form parishes.
