Right Reverend,
And very dear Sir,
Accept the enclosed 1.1.0 [pounds] as my [?] towards [your] great undertaking tis all I can offer (under existing circumstances,) I also enclose 1.0.0 pounds from Lady Maria [Meda], who observed, she looked upon it as a [rivalry], the giving it. Both [Mrs. H] and I are truly sorry ([?] Miss Walker [host]) to see we cannot hope to see you this evening.
With sincere prayers and cordial good wishes for the Divine Blessing on [these] and all your other works and labours of love. Believe me my [?] Bishop on the best Bond of Chistian sympathy, and affection. [Yours] faithfully
