Description

Postcard with text printed in green and stamped with purple ink. Address and additional text handwritten in black ink. Message handwritten in black ink on opposite side.

Italian Fascist censored (two line handstamp and circular R-Questura Modena stamp recto and boxed 2 verso) propaganda postcard with King Victor Emmanuelle Stamp on Vinceremo (“We will win”) imprint postcard to a Professor Maurizio Lowy in Finale-Emilia in the province of Modena. This card sent in the final phase of WW@ in June 1943, the final phase of WW2 in Italy. Mr. Lowy perhaps served as a conduit for Jews in both Italy and Yugoslavia.
