Blake Family Letters

This collection of letters was written by and to The Rev. Alfred Blake and members of his family. Transcripts were completed by John D. Green, a descendant of Blake via his son, Charles Royal Blake.

The title for each record includes the author’s location and the name of the recipient and their location. The line below the title is the name of the author of the letter and their life dates, if known. The third line is the date of the letter in month-day-year format. The letters and numbers following the date are unique identifiers so our staff can locate each letter.
