Abstract
A view from the square infront of the Complex of Hasan, showing the passage separating the Complex of Hasan (to the left) and the Mosque of al-Rifa‘i. The picture affords a good opportunity to observe the various adornments on the minartes, in particular the complex stalactite constructions. Both buildings in this picture, in fact, abound in muqarnas cornices. -MA
