Abstract
Ships near the harbor at Piraeus. The largest ship bears the name "Queen Frederica," and was originally called the SS Malolo, constructed in Philadelphia in 1925. The ship served as a troop ship during the Second World War, and was sold a few years later to the Greek company Charibdis Lines, who renamed her the "Queen Frederica." The ship was retired in Elefsina in 1977.
