Description
The Zawiya (shrine) of Moulay Idris II in the town named after his father Moulay Idris I. Here we can see the rectangular courtyard of the shrine, with an arcade of arches of varying height covering an ambulatory. The shrine has undergone considerable renovation since this image was taken, and the courtyard today is covered with green-colored tile roofing. -MA
