Formally called lake Egridir (crooked lake) Egirdir is located in the Isparta province in the Mediterranean region, Turkey's lake district. Lake Egirdir is the second largest freshwater lake in Turkey containing two islands: Cana Ada (Life Island) and Yesil Ada (Green Island). -CK
