Description
This print shows the oval-framed scene of a boat outing on Lake Leman, shared between France and Switzerland. A young man, woman, and a little girl row peacefully on the lake, their canoe crowded with blankets, baskets of flowers, and other goods. A small village lies at the base of the lake, while the misty Alps rise into the background.
