Description

Cartoonish figures in bright formal wear dance in a lavishly decorated hall with deep purple drapes, grand paintings, a large chandelier, and decorative bunches of holly. In the center-left of the composition, Mr. Jorrocks leads his partner into another couple, who fall to the floor, while onlookers look shocked and some move to help the fallen pair.
