"Dear brother thought I would drop a line this eve to let you know that I am well and hope this finds every one at home the same. Well I am having some now believe me. We are having a shooting contest between the First Division and the Third Div. they picked seven men out of each company (the seven best shots) and sent us here to [unknown] to school to learn to shoot the Browning Automatic rifle they are supposed to shoot five hundred shots a minute the max we have to shoot is only 20 shots in 30 seconds you have to be standing."
