Description

Egyptian papyrus scene with detail from the lid of the chest of Tutankhamun showing the Pharaoh riding into battle on a chariot with his bow drawn. Enemy figures are shown cowering underneath his horse as they are attacked by dogs. Modelled after scene originally made in the 18th Egyptian dynasty, in power from approximately 1332 to 1323 B.C.E
