Description
A sales description included with this portfolio states: "Loose leaf portfolio of etchings housed in original black card folder with red tilting. This copy is from the reduced printing (w 9.75 in x h 13.75 in); the lithographs are thus not original (as the title states) but offset. The collection consists of one print each from the artists Otto Dix, George Grosz, Eric Johansson, Kathe Kollwitz, Otto Nagel, Karl Volker, and Heinrich Zille. Published during the 10th anniversay of the beginning of WWI, proceeds from the sales went to the International Workers Relief."
With this portfolio are two brochures for the exhibition Käthe Kollwitz: In Celebration of the 125th Anniversary of the Artist's Birth held from September 15th through November 7th, 1992 at the Galerie St. Etienne in New York.
