Description
First printed in 1924, this is a 1930 reprint of the second volume of Ernst Friedrich's anti-war, anti-fascist, and anarchist publication Krieg dem Kriege (War Against War). The book featured over 180 photographs documenting the horrors of World War I and served as the foundation for the Berlin Anti-War Museum (Anti-Kriegs-Museum) which Friedrich founded in 1925. Shortly after its publication, Krieg dem Kriege became the most widely circulated pacific work in Europe, even after it was banned by German authorities. This is the second volume of a two-volume set, 1926 edition printed by Internationales Anti-Kriegsmuseum which can be found on HathiTrust.
