Description

This is a bound portfolio of 60 political cartoons. It was pubslihed by Malik-Verlag, a publishing house based in Berlin and founded by Wieland Herzflede, John Heartfield, and George Grosz. Malk-Verlag focused on left-wing political art and literature. A digitized version of this portfolio can be found here.

This portfolio is a sequel to Grosz’s Das Desicht Der Herrschenden Klasse (The Face of the Ruling Class), a collection of 57 political cartoons published by Malik-Verlag in 1921. A digitized version of the first installment of this series can be found here.
