Description
The scroll (2023.8.1) carries a likely spurious signature of Buson. The box (2023.8.2) is marked with an inscription from 1954 by someone named Yoshisada who authenticates the box’s scroll as a haiga painting by Buson; although Buson is known as a haiga painter, the painting itself does not include a haiku poem.
