Condition
As of 9/16/2024: Some general oxidization of the copper all over, although it is particularly visible on the bottom half of the obverse, where the area around the inscription has lightened considerably and turned green. The same is true above the inscription on the reverse. Inscriptions on both sides are largely legible, with some smoothing from wear on the top right edge of the obverse. The same is true on the reverse; all inscriptions are legible, but there is some wear on the left side.

The obverse of this pentanummium is struck with a monogram of Justin II and Sophia (r.565-578). The reverse is struck with the coin's mark of value and mint mark (K) of Cyzicus.
