Description
The obverse of this coin depicts a right-facing bust of the emperor Constantius II (r.317-361), wearing a cuirass (chest armor) and diadem.
The reverse of this coin depicts a helmeted soldier on the right, advancing left, standing over a fallen horseman on the left. The solder wears a shield on his left arm and spears the horseman, who lies next to a shield on the ground at the right. The horseman is beardless and wears a pointed cap. He faces toward the soldier and raises his right arm in defense.
