Condition
as of 11/14/24: the obverse of this coin is in good condition, with all letters of the Greek inscription legible. The bust also maintains most details, including facial features and costume. There are some areas of damage, primarily below the bust's chin and nose. There is some oxidation directly above and below the bust.
The reverse of this coin is oxidized more evenly, particularly around the edges and the right side of the coin. The letter inscription is less clear than that of the obverse, with blurring happening most near the top center. The image is mostly visible with slight wear.

Description

The obverse of this coin depicts a right-facing bust of Philip II, wearing a laurel wreath and cuirass (upper body armor) covered in a draped garment.
The reverse of this coin depicts a tetrastyle temple (temple with 4 columns) on a rocky hilltop. A figure is seated on top of it (possibly Zeus.) The temple is flanked by steps on either side. Below, a capricorn leaps right.
