Sold by Charles Edwin Puckett, Akron, Ohio. An original leaf from a printed and hand-illuminated Book of Hours. Printed by Phillip Pigouchet, the Master of Anne de Bretagne designed the metal cuts. Produced in 1512 by Nicolas Higman for Simon Vostre in Paris.

Description
A detailed, full-page panel depicting the Mythical Pentecost, a rare illustration of the Pentecost. Along the top from left to right is God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. The fire emanating from the Holy Spirit is transformed into Christ's blood when it comes to Earth. The large gold H begins the hymn, "Hora completorii".
