Description
In this work, GU De Xin placed one hundred kilograms of raw beef in to three customized plexiglass coffins. Though remained hermetic, the decay of the raw meat still generated repulsive odors which evaded the insulation by plexiglass. After three days of exhibition in Venice, the gallery decided to remove the piece due to the olfactory disturbance.
