Description

This work displayed sixty-eight mysterious hands with a variety of gestures that surrounded the central silk-screen piece. It was exhibited in the Forty-fifth Venice Biennial along with thirty-two other works from China. It is rare among other Chinese works because it's an installation art which has gained inspiration from a 20th century German novel, “Perfume: The Story of a Murderer” (Yan Zhou, "A History of Contemporary Chinese Art: 1949 to Present", Springer, 2020, p.292) .
