Description
This photograph is part of the artist's "Serve the People" series. The phrase comes from a commonly used Communist slogan, originating in a speech made by Mao Zedong in 1944. In his series, the artist appropriates and repurposes the slogan in a satirical way. In this photo, a banner with the motto is being actively placed within a factory.
